The Craftsman’s Cottage

Only two hours drive from London lies this charming yet contemporary countryside escape. Aptly named, the Craftsman’s Cottage showcases a range of British crafts, from furniture and decorations to food and drink.

The Craftsman’s Cottage sleeps a total of six guests, across two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom. The property also has a cosy sitting room with wood-burning stove, internet-connected TV and a PlayStation; an open-plan kitchen, living and dining room with formal dining table for up to eight; and a brick herringbone patio equipped with a teak dining table and a brick BBQ for guests to enjoy.

For larger groups, a self-contained annex offers space for two more guests, with a second open-plan living and kitchen area, shower room and mezzanine level king-size bedroom. In the winter, guests staying in the annex benefit from underfloor heating across the ground floor.

Priding itself on using local suppliers and artisans, guests to the Craftsman’s Cottage are also treated to unique pieces of artwork, handcrafted furniture, ceramics and print, giving the property its distinctly British and yet playful style.

Please note there is a minimum three night stay at this property and a minimum one week stay during August and Christmas. The minimum stay is flexible on bookings placed within a month prior or less.
