Rescued from ruin in 2011, Crossbasket Castle opened in 2016 after a loving restoration, transforming the building into a luxurious property, perfectly suited to groups, wedding and events. Following this, Crossbasket Castle was recently awarded the coveted Best Newcomer or Back on the Scene Award at the Condé Nast Johansens Annual Awards for Excellence 2016.
Sleeping eighteen guests across the entire castle, each of the nine en suite bedrooms is named after one of the historical custodians of the castle and finished with stunning period windows, bed dressings and antique furniture. The four-storey bridal tower also provides the ideal space for romantic escapes.
In addition to the sumptuous living spaces and dining rooms – including its own restaurant – guests can also experience the beautiful surrounding landscape with a range of outdoor activities, from golfing and fishing to visiting the local country park.
