Over Yonder Cay

With sustainability at its core, Over Yonder Cay as we know it now began as a renewable energy research facility by the Borsage Family Office. Still participating in active research, Over Yonder Cay now produces 98% of its own power through wind farms and solar panels. Through this, the island has become a hub for entrepreneurs, activists and celebrities with a keen interest in sustainable energy.

This one of a kind location is now available for private charter and offers 4 luxurious villas, as well as private sailing yacht, Tenacious. Each uniquely designed villa has its own personality and offers a range of outstanding facilities.

Meridian House, the largest property on the island, is a glamorous and elegant villa that sleeps up to eight people and offers outstanding facilities such as a gym, sauna and steam room, massage room, luxury home movie theatre and a glittering outdoor infinity pool. Water-side West Sands meanwhile is a more intimate villa, perched on the white sands of Whale Bone Beach and sleeping up to eight guests. The third exceptional property on this cay is East Cove, which overlooks its own private beach and offers a three-tier infinity pool and hot tub, sleeping up to six adults with room for a further two children. The final property is South Point, situated on the Southern tip of the island. This elegant and understated property offers some of the best views on the island of both sunrise and sunset, an idyllic and private retreat. With one master suite and two guest bedrooms, South Point is ideal for families or groups of up to six people.

Over Yonder Cay also offers a range of activities, from water sports to golfing and tennis, as well as a range of unique excursions throughout the Bahamas. Guests staying on the island are also able to schedule a trip around Over Yonder Cay’s own active research laboratory with a guide.

The island also has a keen focus on healthy living and all the food provided by the two island chefs, who have worked in some of the world’s best establishments, has been developed without sugar and features a uniquely-created sugar substitute.
