A Glimpse of the property
In the 13th century, Saint Sabinus, Bishop of Spoleto, consecrated a little stone church in Umbria, in what was to become the Murlo estate. Farmers met at this church for Sunday Holy Mass as late as the 1970s, and today this quaint country church has been reimagined as a unique villa.
This historic Italian villa has been meticulously restored and updated, making it a perfect place to get away from it all. With two king-sized bedrooms, one queen-size and one twin bedroom (all with en-suite bathrooms), there’s room for eight guests to relax comfortably at San Savino. This ancient retreat has been updated with amenities like a big-screen LCD TV with Sky Italia, high-speed Wi-Fi, a fully-equipped kitchen and comfortable A/C in all bedrooms. Still, when you look at the terracotta tile floors, stone walls and original kitchen, you’re in touch with the history and rugged beauty of this timeless estate.
Step outside to the garden and terrace for a stunning view across the estate. You’ll love the BBQ, the 5 x 11 metre heated pool complete with lounging furniture and the carefully-landscaped garden. Connect with history during a relaxing getaway at San Savino.
