Subtilia

Originally a 16th-century farmhouse, Subtilia has been reimagined as a spectacular country villa. High atop a hill in the Murlo estate, Subtilia looks out over the medieval castle of Antognolla and an 18-hole championship golf course. It’s where the modern age meets the ancient, in a centuries-old estate that has been lovingly restored with 21st-century amenities and comforts.

Subtilia’s main building can accommodate up to 12 guests in its six king-size double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom. The apartment Olivo can host four more guests, with two twin bedrooms, and pool cottage Tiglio can host two guests in its twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom. In total Subtilia welcomes groups of up to 18.

Everything at Subtilia is designed with your comfort as a priority. There are two kitchens, each with dishwasher, fridge and oven. There are laundry facilities with two washing machines, an iron and ironing board, with separate laundry in the Olivo cottage. You can relax with three big-screen LCD TVs (hooked up to Sky Italia and sports channels), each with a DVD player. Subtilia is also equipped with three iPod docking stations, high-speed WiFi throughout, central heating and A/C in all bedrooms.

Outside, you’ll marvel at the 7 x 15 metre infinity pool and Jacuzzi with room for eight people. There’s an outdoor dining table for 12 and a BBQ, all with a splendid view of the valley and golf course. Relax and take in the Italian countryside from the panoramic terraces outside each building.
