The Walled Garden

The newly restored Walled Garden provides eight en-suite bedrooms for its guests, sleeping a total of sixteen people. The bedrooms – complete with king-size Hypnos beds and quirky furnishings – are arranged either side of a large central baronial hall with vaulted ceiling and huge English Ancaster limestone fireplaces at either end.

The hall opens through the kitchen garden’s northern wall onto a range of traditional glass houses overlooking the newly restored one-acre garden. These three glasshouses provide the other main reception spaces.

The largest central glasshouse is a spacious kitchen and breakfast room with large central oak island, professional range cooker and doors leading to a patio and kitchen garden beyond. The two further glasshouses provide a cinema room complete with a 110-inch flat screen Smart television featuring SKY TV in the ‘Peach House’ and a well-equipped games room in the ‘Vine House’.

The property offers underfloor heating throughout, open fires and luxuriously appointed bath and shower rooms for the ultimate comfort. Guests can also make the most of the hot tub and outdoor sauna, the perfect place to relax and de-stress.
