At the front of this beautiful house, the grounds have the airs of a formal French garden, with interiors that combine simplicity and sophistication. The immaculate white walls give a perfect backdrop to the stylish contemporary furniture, and the modern atmosphere the property exudes. The décor plays on variations of different materials, both noble and rustic: tables and chests in wood, wicker and steel light fittings, the fabric couches and rush floor matting. The original fixtures – mouldings, beams and fireplaces, are sublime. At the rear of the villa immense windows and a vast glazed frontage open out to a succession of terraces offering breath-taking sea views.

Take advantage of the cool mornings to explore the natural park of les Calanques before returning for a game of bocce ball at the villa. Descend the wide stone staircase that leads to the pool and soak up the sun on a lounger under the the shade or a large pine tree. For an aperitif, sample a glass of local white wine on the huge terrace while watching the sun set into the sea. Finally, when night falls, settles into a red velour couch in the screening room and take in a film.
