Waterberg Reserve is surrounded by the dramatic and malaria-free Waterberg Mountains of Northern South Africa and set in a 20,000 acre savannah and bush estate. A completely unique family villa, designed by award-winning architects Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens, Leobo Private Reserve is the ultimate in decadent luxury while pushing boundaries and inviting guests to have fun without limits. With phenomenal views, funky architecture and utterly luxurious interiors, it will undoubtedly take your breath away.

The Observatory, or main house, sleeps 6 adults and 4 children, and there are 8 overspill chalets on the reserve for larger groups.

It also has numerous dining areas, an exciting roof top bar and Jacuzzi, a sophisticated library, and the star attraction – a research grade observatory with a 20 inch telescope. With no light pollution in The Waterberg, the astronomy is mind blowing.

Staffed by a butler, maid and chef, as well as reserve managers and safari guides, everything is in hand for guests to enjoy an entirely relaxing experience. The entirely private 20,000 acre reserve has plenty of plains game to admire, as well as hippo, crocodiles, buffalo, and wonderful bird life. Guests can explore the reserve from a game viewing vehicle, quad bikes, mountain bikes or even on horseback.
